China Inside Out - Chinese Women Writers at the Confucius Institute

This is a non-SCA event.

The Confucius Institute with Scottish PEN is organising a three day conference for Scottish and Chinese women writers. Opening with a keynote public lecture on 11 March in the Playfair Library, full details of this forthcoming event will be published early in the new year. The confirmed participants includethe following: Shirley Lim; Amy Lai; Lui Hong; Luming Mao; Wang Ping; Xijun Eberlein; Chiew-Siah Tei; Judith Misrahi-Barak; Lesley Glaister; Liz Niven; Morelle Smith and Jenni Calder.

All films start at 2 pm in the Lecture Theatre and are free. Dates :

Glasgow Programme 2010-2011

Glasgow Branch 2010-11 programme begins Tuesday 28th September 2010, 7.30pm in the Garnethill Multicultural Centre, 21 Rose St, Glasgow G3 6RE.

After our events, Glasgow branch invites the speaker for a Chinese meal, and any SCA member is welcome to come along.
