WHO ARE WE?

The Scotland-China Association (SCA) is a non-profit, non-political and non-sectarian organisation for people who have an interest in all aspects of Chinese life and civilisation. The SCA holds a wide range of cultural events in Glasgow and Edinburgh to foster friendship and understanding between the people of Scotland and China.

Chinese Conversation Corner
Conversation Corner is fun evening with the chance to practice and develop your spoken Chinese. With overseas Chinese, students of Chinese and Confucius Institute staff in attendance conversation can be on any topic of interest.

The Confucius Institute for Scotland also runs a number of classes and courses in Chinese language and culture.

Details of the Friday afternoon Chinese film programme at the University of Edinburgh can also be found on the Confucius Institute website. It runs on Fridays at 2 pm from 16 January to 27 March. Venue: Language & Humanities Centre, David Hume Tower, George Square, Edinburgh. Admission Free.
